CANDIDATE FORUM

On Monday, April 21, 2025 there were two Candidate forums held locally.
One organized by WISD candidate Larry Farmer for "all candidates" and another at Juniper Cove Winery for only Mayoral candidates. I opted to attend the first one because there was a request to stream it [streaming is my niche!], I wasn't running for Mayor, and the Juniper Cove event expressly prohibited recording or streaming by anyone in attendance.

To my knowledge, the only candidate in attendance at Juniper Cove Winery was the incumbent Mayor, Janice Sanders.
 

Brian Burkhart [candidate for Mayor] had already pledged to attend Larry's  All-Candidate forum.   
Zach Hamlin [candidate for Mayor] coaches his kids' ballgames (scheduled that night) and couldn't make it. He did send a statement via livestream comment that I read into the recording at the end. Candidates were introduced in ballot order.  There were no time limits, and all questions were taken - even ones asked via livestream during the forum. The candidates that appeared include Brian Burkhart [for Mayor],  Amy Teal and Debbie Gregory [for City Council], and Larry Farmer [for School Board]. 

The forum was livestreamed to my personal facebook page as a public post. I read questions aloud as they were asked in the comments.
